Terms of Service
Effective October 25, 2026
Welcome to Project Dreambox (“Project Dreambox,” “we,” “us”), available at projectdreambox.com. Project Dreambox is a place where people share their dreams and help each other reach them with people, resources and funding. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Project Dreambox.
1. Who can use Project Dreambox
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the site only with a parent or guardian's permission.
- You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts for others without their permission or impersonate anyone.
2. Dreams, goals and teams
- Dreams. A dream is a page you create to describe something you want to achieve. You can add a title, description, cover photo or video, goals and updates.
- Goals. Goals can ask for team members, resources or funding. Completion percentages are based on the goals the dream's team marks as done. They are self-reported and are not verified by us.
- Teams. Dream owners can accept people as admins, managers or moderators. Team members can post updates and, depending on their role, edit goals and the dream. Owners are responsible for who they let onto their team.
- Recorded dreams. Some dreams were recorded at the original Dreambox video booth. We may invite the person who recorded a dream to claim it. Once claimed, the dream belongs to that person's account. If you appear in a recording and want it removed, contact us.
3. Helping other dreamers
Project Dreambox connects people. When you offer or accept help, such as joining a team, lending a resource, meeting in person or sending money, that arrangement is between you and the other people involved. We don't screen users, verify claims, supervise arrangements or guarantee that any dream will come true or that any help offered will be delivered. Use good judgment, meet in public places, and never share passwords or financial details with people you don't trust.
4. Funding and payments
Funding goals currently show amounts that each dream's team reports. Project Dreambox does not process payments today. Any money you give or receive outside the site is at your own risk and between you and the other party. When we add payments, additional terms (including any platform fee and the payment provider's terms) will apply, and we'll tell you before they take effect. Dream owners are responsible for using funds as described and for any taxes that apply to them.
5. Your content
- You own the content you post: dreams, updates, photos, videos, profile details and messages (“your content”).
- You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, adapt (for example, resize or crop) and distribute your content to run, improve and promote Project Dreambox. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or content others have already shared or that is part of a team's dream.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you post, including permission from anyone who appears in your photos or videos.
- Public dreams, profiles, goals and updates can be seen by anyone, including people without an account.
6. Things you may not do
- Post anything illegal, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent or that exploits minors.
- Raise money or resources under false pretenses, or misrepresent who you are or what a dream is for.
- Share someone else's private information without their permission.
- Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Send spam, scrape the site, attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or interfere with how the site works.
- Use Project Dreambox to promote illegal goods, services or activities.
7. Our rights
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other people at risk, with or without notice. We may change, pause or stop parts of the site at any time. The Project Dreambox name, logo and site design belong to us. You may not use them without our permission.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using Project Dreambox at any time. To delete your account and your content, email ted@infinitstudios.com. Sections 5 (license for backups and shared content), 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply after your account ends.
9. Disclaimers
Project Dreambox is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or about the accuracy of any dream, goal, profile or user content. Content on the site is not medical, legal or financial advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Project Dreambox and its founder will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from dealings with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Disputes and indemnity
You agree to cover any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located there, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Project Dreambox grows. When we make important changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know by email or on the site. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
